Privacy notice
Last reviewed 14 September 2026
This notice explains what Supanex Limited (“we”) does with personal data. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17070601, at Connaught House, 15–17 Upper George Street, Luton, LU1 2RD.
Two different roles
We answer calls for other businesses, and we answer our own demonstration line. The law treats those differently, and so do we.
- On a client’s phone line, the client decides why the calls are answered and what happens to them. They are the data controller and we act as their processor, under a written agreement with them.
- On our own demonstration line, we decide. We are the controller, and the rest of this notice is about that.
If you rang a business we answer for and want your data removed, the quickest route is to ask that business. Ask us and we will pass it on, but we act on their instruction, not our own.
What we collect when you ring our demonstration line
- A recording of the call and a written transcript of it.
- Your telephone number, as presented by the network.
- Anything you tell the agent during the call — typically a name, and any appointment details you try to book.
- The time, duration and outcome of the call.
The agent tells you it is an AI at the start of every call. If you would rather not be recorded, please hang up and use the email address below instead.
Why, and on what basis
We use it to run and demonstrate the service, to improve how the agent handles calls, and to follow up where you have asked us to. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — demonstrating and improving a service people have chosen to ring — except where you ask us to contact you, which is your consent, withdrawable at any time.
Please do not give health information or other special category data to the demonstration line. It is not set up to hold it, and we do not want it.
Who else processes it
We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising. We rely on these providers to run the service:
- ElevenLabs — speech recognition, the agent’s voice, and call recordings.
- Anthropic — reviewing call transcripts to improve how the agent handles calls.
- Twilio — the telephone network connection.
- Supabase — the database holding call records and transcripts.
- Vercel — hosting.
- Postmark — email notifications.
- Sentry — error monitoring.
- Google — calendar access, where a booking is made into one.
Some of these process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
Recordings and transcripts from the demonstration line are kept for30 days and then deleted. Call records for client lines are kept for as long as our agreement with that client says, and deleted when it ends.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Write to hello@webzine.io and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first.
